| Managing
your gift card and loyalty program is an important
key to the success of your program. To that end
we have developed the tools that you need to properly
manage your program.
Your
business will receive both daily and monthly reports.
The Daily Batch report is printed directly from
your credit card processing equipment or POS system.
This report will produce a chronological list
of all transactions plus a total count and total
dollar amount by transaction type since the terminal
was last settled. In addition, you will receive
a monthly Corporate Summary statement that reports
all transactions captured on the Valutec database
during that time period as well as the total fees
billed. You can receive the monthly report either
by email, fax, or hard copy in the mail.

All merchants can also
access the online custom reporting system by entering
a user name and password. Reports are available
24 hours a day and are accurate to within a few
seconds. Merchants can select from a wide variety
of valuable reports, from store summaries to individual
card usage within any date range.. All of the
online reports are formatted so that you can neatly
print them out on your standard printer for future
reference.
Your
customers will also have the convenience of going
online to check their up-to-the-minute balance
on their card. That way they will be comfortable
in presenting a card at your business knowing
exactly what balance remains on their card.
As
an option, we can also set your business up to
be able to utilize the Valutec Virtual Terminal.
Virtual Terminal is a web-based transaction processing
& customer data-mining solution.
It
allows you to process all of the same transaction
types on the web as you do with a physical terminal—with
one additional feature. Demographic data can be
entered for each cardholder so that customer purchase
activity can be stored, “mined” and
used to target marketing offers to specific groups
of customers. This capability is especially useful
for Reward Card programs where linking card use
with specific customers is useful.
